Prof. Pablo Martinez-Martin

Prof. Pablo Martinez-Martin is a world-renowned neurologist and scientist from the Spanish public research institutions, based at the National Center for Epidemiology, Carlos III Health Institute (ISCIII). He is also a member of the Consortium for Biomedical Research in Neurodegenerative Diseases (CIBERNED – ISCIII) in Madrid, Spain.

His research focuses on the development and validation of various clinical assessment scales in the field of neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. One of his main areas of interest is the quality of life of individuals living with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease, in which he is considered a pioneer and has published numerous significant works.

Prof. Pablo Martinez-Martin is ein Weltrenommierter Neurologe und Wissenschaftler der spanischen öffentlichen Forschungsämter im Nationalen Zentrum für Epidemiologie, Institut für Gesundheit Carlos III (ISCIII). Mitglied des Konsortiums für biomedizinische Forschung bei neurodegenerativen Erkrankungen (CIBERNED – ISCIII), Madrid, Spanien.

Seine Forschungsschwerpunkte liegen in der Entwicklung und Validierung von unterschiedlichen klinischen Bewertungsskalen im Bereich neurodegenerativer Erkrankungen, insbesondere Parkinson und Alzheimer. Eines seiner Hauptinteressen gilt insbesondere der Lebensqualität von Parkinson- und Alzheimer Erkrankten, in welchem er als Pionier zahlreiche, bedeutende Publikationen zu diesem Thema veröffentlicht hat.
