We had the absolute joy of meeting Ronnie Gardiner and spending time with him on set and what an experience it was! At 93 years young, the legendary jazz drummer and founder of the RGM Method is still bursting with energy, humor, and inspiration. Ronnie Gardiner (born 1932) is a celebrated American-Swedish jazz drummer whose long and distinguished career includes collaborations with legends such as Dizzy Gillespie, Gerry Mulligan, Benny Carter, and Dexter Gordon. In 1980, a personal tragedy deeply changed his life, inspiring him to channel his musical expertise into a brain-training method. Over the next years, he developed what would become the Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) \u2014 a multisensory system combining rhythm, movement, speech, color, and music. Launched in the early 1990s in Sweden, RGM has since been adopted in hospitals, rehabilitation centers, schools, and community settings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

A good teacher always learns from their students. When Ronnie and Itte first began, they worked with four stroke groups. Itte, a music therapist, was the very first therapist Ronnie trained and she has stayed by his side ever since. The Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM): A Multisensory Training System for the Brain and Body<\/strong><\/h1>

The Ronnie Gardiner Method (RGM) is an innovative, music-based training program that uses rhythm, movement, and multi-sensory stimulation to enhance both cognitive and physical function.
